Vikita & Dhanvati

Vikita and Dhanvati live with her parents and sisters in the Mandla Khurd village in the Jodhpur district of India. Dhanvati’s family lives in a small one-room home because her parents earn $ 2 per day as laborers on a peanut farm.

Dhanvati’s sisters wake up at 5:00 am and spend their day collecting water for their family. Dhanavati would have also followed this path as she grows older. But now, thanks to the generous support of donors, Hyatt Family Foundation and The Richa & Atul Aggarwal Foundation, Dhanvati and her sisters will soon change for the better.

Vikita and Dhanvati’s parents will be able to send all their daughters to school and increase their income through sustainable farming methods.
