Guddi and Manju

12-year-old Guddi and 10-year-old Manju are unable to attend school for multiple reasons. They have to help their mother collect water and do other chores, so they do not have time to pursue their education. In addition, their school is a long distance away.

With your support, Guddi and Manju’s family will obtain a rainwater harvesting tank with bio-sand filter so they will have clean water. In addition, their family will receive training to plant a garden using the khadin method which uses rainwater for agriculture. Furthermore, Guddi and Manju will receive bicycles, so they can get to school more easily.

As a result, Guddi and Manju will both be able to pursue their goal of attending school regularly, going to college, and becoming Hindi teachers at a school in their village.
